This wonderful bag is made from gorgeous soft and buttery elk hide, in a stunning warm golden colour.

It has 10 inches of single layered fringing at the bottom, and various lengths of lacing sprinkled all around, with a total of fourteen glass crow beads.

It is unlined, in true Native style.

I have used the natural edge of the hide for the bag flap, and taken my inspiration from there. Truly unique.

The emblem on the flap is a hand-beaded piece of work (which takes a lot of time and patience to complete – but it's well worth the effort!)

I braided the strap from the same beautiful elk hide.

Bag compartment and strap attachment loops were all stitched using the twin needle method, for maximum strength.
